Frequently Asked Questions
(FAQs)
“How can you help?”
We’ll begin by getting acquainted with one another and understanding the process of therapy so that you feel fully informed with what happens, especially if you have never experienced therapy. Then, I will explain what approach I feel will work best for your situation. If agreeable, I may assign some work outside of our session for you to gain the most from our time together.
“How long will therapy take?”
There is no way to predict how long therapy will last, but I will be able to outline what frequency I think is best for us to get started, such as weekly, then bi-weekly, then monthly and so on.
“What is your rate and do you file insurance?”
My rate is $190/individual and $225/couples. I do not file insurance; however, many health insurance companies will reimburse you based on your individual plan. I can provide you with a superbill, which is what most companies use to reimburse from.
“Will other members of my family be able to be involved?”
We can determine the value of including others in your therapy depending on what is going on with you and if we determine it will be helpful.
